Founder IP Sovereignty Policy

Guarantees complete 100% student ownership over source code, patentable inventions, brand assets, and venture equity with zero institutional claim.

1. Fundamental Guarantee of 100% Ownership

KKWIEER E-Cell operates on an uncompromising founder-first principle: 100% of all intellectual property, trademarks, code repositories, and patentable inventions belong entirely to the student founders.

The Entrepreneurship Cell does not take equity, warrants, or royalties as a condition of participating in hackathons, workshops, or mentoring sessions.

2. Institutional Non-Assertion Agreement

The college will not assert ownership over software, hardware prototypes, or commercial ventures created by students on their own time without substantial college grant funding.

Normal use of campus internet connectivity, shared study spaces, and standard laboratory facilities does not confer institutional ownership over student startups.

3. Patent Filing & Prototyping Support

Founders wishing to file provisional patent applications through the KKWIEER IPR Cell receive subsidized filing assistance while retaining full sole patent applicant status.
